ABSOLUTE NEGATION

This essay is about nothing.

I don’t mean there is NO THING that this essay is about.

This essay is literally about the absence of everything.

Non-existence.

A rather difficult thing to explain as any statement about it requires something.

So how can we refer to nothing then? Can we not even say that we cannot

say anything about Nothing?

Nor say that? Truly ineffable.

To explore the concept of nothingness and its potential layers, I have imagined a theoretical machine called Tractatus, designed to obliterate the universe entirely.

It operates on the premise that ultimate

nothingness can be achieved through the systematic erasure of all elements, both physical and metaphysical.

There it was: the great annihilating force, sculpted to bring an end to cosmic narratives.

“I AM THE INSATIABLE MAW!”

It will begin by DISMANTLING every Elementary Particle and Antiparticle:

Photons and Quarks

Neutrons

Protons

Electrons

Atoms

Then it will DISINTEGRATE compounds and cells:

H2O

CO2

DNA

VANQUISH every Quantum of Radiation:

Infrared

Ultraviolet

X-rays

Radio waves

EXTINGUISH All forms of Consciousness.

ELIMINATE the compendium of all universal events. Every thought, word, and emotion ever conceived.

DEMOLISH The Sun and other stars:

Earth and other planets

The Moon

ANNHILATE all Galaxies and Cosmic Structures:

Milky Way

Andromeda

Star clusters

Nebulae

Tractatus is left with empty space. To some, that’s the true scientific definition of “nothingness.” And yet, it still hints at

“something,” because…

The laws of physics linger and must be NULLIFIED:

Electromagnetic field.

Strong and weak nuclear forces

Black holes

The mysterious Dark Matter must be DISPELLED and Dark Energy NEUTRALIZED.

And at last, even Time itself must be TERMINATED.

Erasure complete.

……..

What's that? Tractatus detects a disturbance.

Unpredictable bursts of energy, known as virtual particles, emerge and vanish.

The death throes of a dying universe.

And so, Tractatus IVICERATES all Potentiality, preventing future fluctuations to form.

Finally, it was over. Profound absence.

Tractatus had a sudden epiphany: it was bound by a paradox. As long as it remained, the void could never be absolute. It was the final object.

To achieve its goal, it had to self-destruct. But if it were gone, who would verify the void? A closed loop.

We will never know for sure if Tractatus achieved full erasure. But if it destroyed itself, there would be Absolute Negation, a

state beyond nothingness where even the concept of nothing doesn't exist.

While nothingness implies the absence of

something, Absolute Negation implies the absence of nothing.

That’s all there is to say about it. There’s nothing more to learn about nothing. All there is to learn is about something.

This equation symbolically represents the idea that Absolute Negation goes beyond ordinary nothingness.

A = The resulting state produced when nothingness is negated

~N = The negation of nothingness
