NECESSARY BEING

Have you ever considered the miracle of existence?

No seriously, how is anything actually happening?

Our universe is so complex and filled with so many things. But whats beneath it all? The underlying thing that gives rise to everything else. The bedrock of ALL EXISTENCE where no further explanations are needed.

And to think, our universe might just be one of a much larger, much more expansive collection of universes- a multiverse.

Did an omnipotent god create everything?

Then what created god?

And what created that thing?

And what created that?

And what created . . . ad infinitum.

Thats the problem with infinite regress, which puzzles all who try to explain why there is something rather than nothing; everything is contingent.

In fact, there may be no ultimate foundation on which all of reality rests, and everything could be infinitely reducible, with no true beginning.

Existence (could even) be trapped in an endless cycle of birth and annihilation, rendering the question of its origin moot.

Can we consider the Big Bang as the starting point? Theres nothing (not almost nothing - absolutely nothing - not a subatomic dust-like speck, no-thing at all, not even empty space) then pop, something!

But its inconceivable for something to come from nothing! I mean, how could existence have brought itself into existence before it existed?

Isnt this maddening?

Continuing to question the world in this way will eventually lead us to a point where no deeper explanations can be given.

There may exist some things that just are.

Absolute.

The ultimate source from which everything, past, present, and future emanates.

In all likelihood, existence has always existed - uncaused and uncreated.

From a logical perspective, an eternal entity is essential for eliminating the concept of causality, and the need for a definitive beginning or end.

A Necessary Being.

However, even if we unravel how it came to be, we are still confronted with the mystery of why.

The question (why) may not carry as much meaning as it seems. When it comes to existence, the question might not mean anything.

In this realm of inquiry, where words falter and concepts become elusive, we venture into the truly ineffable.

Existence exists because it must exist, regardless of how we perceive or understand it. What else can I tell you? Its an inherent property of existence itself.

Something that explains everything else, but its only explanation is itself.

While a lot has been written about explanation, little attention has been given to what it means for something to lack explanation.

A thing that is undeniably the case, but impervious to reason.

The universe keeps its true nature hidden, and the more we try to understand it, the more mysterious and complicated it appears.

Interestingly, the concentrated human effort to understand the universe interferes with its natural unfolding. It becomes harder to be studied, producing an ever-receding horizon of understanding.

Our life remains a thing of beauty and wonder, but I genuinely believe that we have reached an undeniable stopping point where it does not make sense to push further.

I think the question of, why is there something rather than nothing is an interesting one, but the answer probably is. . . thats just the way it is.

Here, N represents the Necessary Being, an eternal and unchanging entity.

E stands for Existence, the very state of being that defines the Necessary Beings nature.

The exponent symbolizes infinity, a quality that encompasses the timeless and unbounded nature of this Beings existence.
